exploring brisbane 🇦🇺🦘(CBD edition)

I visited Brisbane last year in feb-march and had THE MOST amazinggg time!! Especially exploring the central business district area :) So here’s what I recommend doing if you plan to visit🕺

⛴️ Take the CityCat ferry to explore the city🏙️

The most enjoyable way to experience brissy would be to, hop on the CityCat ferry that brings you to the riverside areas of brissy! The views are literally TO DIE FOR.

🍦Cool down by getting YOCHI froyo 😋

aka the best yogurt shop in aussie🤘🏼Pick as many flavours as you want (strawberry, signature, mango, vanilla, cookies & cream, salted butterscotch AND MOREE) Yochi charges by weight so bare that in mind when you’re there! I kinda got carried away with adding a bunch of toppings (you can scoop them yourself) so my total was more than $12 i think🥲

📚 Archives Bookstore

If you enjoy reading classics and historical books like me this is the place for you🫵🏼 They offer rare books, historical, classics with pretty covers if you’re into that 🤩 Prices vary but sometimes it isn’t labelled on the book so you gotta ask the owners. Sorry to disappoint anyone who enjoys reading tiktok recommended books 😔 y’all will have better luck at Dymocks, Target and Kmart.

🖼️ Queensland Art Gallery

It was my first time visiting the art gallery in Queensland and I loved it so much. They featured a lot of aussie artists and many of the paintings give you a glimpse of life back then, which I found fascinating🤭 Entry is free for all too! Occasionally they have different exhibits just like in sg, so make sure to check their website to see upcoming ones if you intend on going :)

🏛️ Queensland Museum Kurilpa

Ever wished to see exotic aussie animals and insects up close? This is the place!! The best part is that entry is free for all :) Most of their displays are stuffed however when I was there, some snakes and insects were alive but don’t worry becos they’re behind a glass container😅 Great place for animal/insect enthusiasts, I def recommend🤩
