✨DOPAMINE DECOR✨ in my NYC apartment!

I’ve been hearing a lot about Dopamine Decor lately, but what even is it? Filling your space with things that bring you joy and make you happy! Ignoring the typical beige & white interior design rules that make your home feel sterile and hotel-like.

You might not believe this, but I used to live in a beige, gold, and white studio apartment. Most of my furniture was from one specific collection and there weren't a lot of personal touches. I thought minimalism was the way to go with a small space andI felt like “Growing Up” meant having a boring home. Newsflash: This isn’t true! 🙅‍♀️

As you can tell, my home is NOT like that anymore. Slowly I have filled my home with unique pieces I’ve collected while traveling, thrifting, or tag sale-ing. Somehow I feel like it makes my small apartment feel bigger! I love being surrounded by pieces that I love, items I’ve collected while traveling, and gifts from friends! 🥳

Some people might argue that Dopamine Decor isn’t a trend, what do you think? Personally, I’m here for it regardless!
