What to expect at your glucose test!

I feel like everyone talks about the glucose text like it’s the worst thing ever. There was so much other stuff to be worried about during pregnancy and I promise you mamas this is NOT one of them!

First off, the drink is not that bad!! It’s really sweet, but not bad! Just tastes like a flat soda. I got fruit punch and I thought it was pretty good. It made me nauseous cause you have to drink it so fast but they gave me a room to lay down in and I was good 🥰

Second, it does feel like it takes forever so just make sure you bring something to pass the time. Definitely a plus if you’re partner can be there and you guys can talk or do something fun together! My hubby and I took a birthing class while we waited.

I passed my test so I did not have gestational diabetes and cannot speak on what that is like. I give so much credit to the mamas that do end up having it because it does not look easy!
