cafe review - lola’s cafe (tampines)

I’ve been to Lola’s since their first outlet in 2016 and there must be good reason why they’re still thriving ~~

It’s my first time at their tampines outlet even though I live in the east because when I heard it’s located at Tampines Mall I was so skeptical.. mall lightings aren’t the best for cafes but turns out they’re located outside the mall and it actually had a lot of natural sunlight and was very pretty 🥰

Love that the space has 2 stories though I think their cafe interior has very much evolved to fit the common aesthetics as compared to what they were at the start (but it’s nice!)

Food wise, their menu has changed throughout the years so I’ll just talk about the Lola’s breakfast and iced white I ordered this time round. As someone who doesn’t eat veg, this was perfect! I loved every single item in the set and this is rare for me~ the only type of mushrooms I don’t mind is button mushroom and this was exactly it !! Plus it’s fried in batter so it locks in the juices making it sooo juicy and flavourful!! I also like that the bacon is not thin and dry, it was quite thick and chewy which I appreciate. scrambled eggs were well cooked, sausage was passable, avocado was perfectly ripped, and the bread 🤩🤩🤩 it looked simple but it was so fragrant!!

Everything fell in to place perfectly and the portion was pretty big~ I would most definitely order this again 🥹 coffee wise I chose the seasonal beans roasted by brawn and brains and it was not bad, not my favourite type of coffee but I think it’s something everyone would be able to accept 🤪
