In May 2024, I bought my first brand-new car, a 2023 Nissan Altima, from Carvana—and I'm here to give you the real tea! I’d been searching for a week, initially looking at luxury cars, but nothing clicked. So, I switched it up and focused on cars under $20K. The options were endless!

I was torn between a 2015 Audi Q5 and this 2023 Nissan Altima. In the end, the Altima was a no-brainer—newer, fewer miles, and way more practical for me right now. As much as I’d love to whip the Audi, keeping up with maintenance? Not in these hard times, y’all!

The Carvana process was SO easy! After selecting the car, I entered all my info—bank statements, driver’s license, and the last four pay stubs. My deposit was about $2,200, including shipping. And guess what? I was approved the very next day! Five days later, I picked up my car. All I needed was full-coverage insurance, signed a few papers, and boom, the keys were mine!

Now, let me tell you how blessed I feel. I moved back home after living in NYC for five years when I found out I was pregnant. No car, no job—nothing. After eight months of being a stay-at-home mom, I landed my first real job in my field. I saved $5K and gave it to a family friend who promised to buy me a car at an auction. He even loaned me a 2024 Audi Q5 to drive in the meantime.
