easiest shakshuka recipe! 🍳🥫

i first had shakshuka at tolido’s espresso nook and fell in love in this dish! to my delight it’s actually super simple and quick to make yet really delicious still :) here’s how i make shakshuka to satisfy my cravings!

ingredients

- 2 tomatoes

- 1 red bell pepper

- 1 onion

- chopped garlic

- eggs (however much you wish)

- spices (salt, pepper, chilli flakes, paprika)

- canned tomatoes/ #prego tomato pasta sauce

steps:

1. add oil to cover the pan and once it’s hot enough, add the diced garlic until golden brown

2. add the diced onions and fry until they are soft

3. add chopped tomatoes and red bell pepper

4. once soft enough, add canned tomatoes/pasta sauce

5. if the consistency is too thick, you can add a little bit of water

6. add the spices to taste

7. add eggs as the last step (make little wells in the sauce with your spoon)

8. serve with bread of your choice!
