DIY WEDDING THINGS PART 1

I can be quite extra when it comes down to it but somehow when I saw all of these came to life on my actual wedding day, I couldn’t have been happier 🥹

1. Vow cards - I wanted both of our cards to have a starker contrast and didn’t really like how the ones I found online were quite generic. Designed them, selected my own papers and printed them out, black for his, and white for hers (A4 folded, on 250 gsm matte paper)

2. Wedding “newspaper” - for guests who arrived early, I wanted to have something they could read and also get to know us a little better. Intentionally chose a yellow-er and thinner paper to hopefully give it the vintage effect (A3 folded, on 100 gsm on maple bright paper)

3. Bar menu - made his and hers signature cocktails because why not!!! plus it’s such a cute way to showcase the beverages available for the night

4. Photo card message corner - this was actually improvised since our guest book didn’t come in time 🥲 but I guess it was a blessing in disguise cos we got guests to pick their favourite PWS of us and write little messages behind it!

5. POV app - BEST IDEA EVER. Individual guests get to capture their POV of the night, without being able to delete or see their shots, kinda like a “disposable film” but mobile/digital version. And at the end of the night, you get to see everyone’s POV and it’s so heartwarming to see what each and every table were doing!! You also have the option to open the gallery to everyone if you want to!

6. Petal cones, flower girl sign and flower basket - I wanted something aesthetic for guests to hold onto the petals before the toss and I thought it was cute for the flower girl to hold a little “here comes the bride” sign with a basket for her petal toss!

7. Dear Mum handkerchief - I wanted to leave my mum something to remember the day with so I custom made a handkerchief and gave it to her before the veiling

8. 10 promises signage - this was one of the games we had for gate crash and I wanted it custom made too so we could hang it in the house after in remembrance of the promises
