I FOUND THE IT PINTEREST PLACE 💗 LAKE COMO

Hey zesties!

When i was in Milan, i went on a day trip to Lake Como and its literally the prettiest place ever!! So if you’re in Italy Milan, I HIGHLYYY recommend you to take a day trip /overnight at Lake Como🩷

While you may not know Lake Como, you DEFINITELY would have seen pictures of the place all over Pinterest!! (literally tons of aesthetic pinterest spots so be prepared to take tons of photos there HAHAHAH)

Lake Como has multiple areas that you can visit either by taking ferry bus (public transport) or renting a personal boat. We opt for the first option and bought the unlimited day pass ($30) & went to bellagio, menaggio and varanna.

Bellagio is the most popular tourist spot so it’s superrr crowded everywhere, but has lots of mini cute shops there!

Menaggio is more chill, can walk along the lake and ngl very nice as well. However, there’s nothing much to do there.

Varenna is the spot with the MOST popular pictures spots (eg Villa monastero & Villa Cipressi).

✍️ Allocate more time here if you want to take pictures

How did i get there?

Super simple! Just book a train ticket from Milan Central station & alight at Varenna.

✍️ Rmb to arrive at the station early to get a seat on the train!

✍️ Wear comfy sandals or shoes bc there’s a lot of climbing of stairs and walking on uneven pavement

Nonetheless, definitely is a “once in a lifetime place” to go!! <3
