MY HOTEL ROOM WAS INFESTED W FLIES🤮🪰

Now, this is not my usual content but i still decided to share it here to warn others of this place🤬

* I know i edited it in kinda of a funny way bc i don’t rly know how to show it but trust me, we were rly SO SCARED *

For context : This resort was quite popular on XHS when searching for places

to stay in Langkawi so we decided to book a 4D3N stay here.

Story time: Everything was going great at the start, we were greeted with a welcome drink, cool towels and a nice pool view. Hotel was basic and the place was pretty ulu out, but it was okay for the quaint and quiet vibe.

Then on the FIRST night, the horror started. It was raining outside and my friends & i were chilling in the room. Suddenly, we spot 2 insect flying around, we thought “ok a little gross but it’s fine we used a shoe to hit it” However a short while later, more and more flies started to fly around our room. I’m talking AT LEAST 50, and they were literally HUGE. 🥵 just imagine those flies in sg that attracts the light, but x3 of the size here. With 4 girls in the room, u can just imagine how scared we were, screaming and cuddling up in one corner. Don’t call us spoiled bc it was really overwhelming :( We used a shoe bag to hit the flies away but they just kept increasing, crawling on our bed, shoes and flying around. At this point we were so grossed and shaken up we really didn’t know what to do. We didn’t want to move AN INCH in case they start to fly even more.

And this wasn’t even the worst part. One of my friend quickly dialled the front desk to ask them to come and help us but the staff replied “ oh we can’t do anything, this is normal” like wtf??? we looked outside and there were literally a swarm of flies flying at the light right outside our room - so we can’t run out either. I was actually going crazy bc SORRY BUT I HATE AND CANT STAND insects + we were in an enclosed room so we had nowhere to run. It was only the second time we called them, literally begging them to come, then they reluctantly agreed LOL. When they opened the door, they were smiling at us. We were so pissed bc they clearly took us as a joke. Even though they managed to get the flies out, there were so many dead flies and remains in the room 💀 Ain’t NO WAY we r gna sleep in that room + we were scared the flies will come back again. We asked for a change of room but the staff said “i can’t do anything now the flies will keep coming even if you change a room “ again wtf?? so you’re telling me everyone sleeps with insects flying around? The amount of red flags 🚩🚩🚩

It was getting late and we had activities tmr so we end up sleeping in our friends room - 4 person squeezing on 1 queen size bed bc they refuse to give us a new room🫠 even though we paid for the price of 2 rooms.

It was only the next day then they were willing to give us a new room.

Overall, it was such a bad experience staying at this place. So if you’re coming to Langkawi, PLS BE MINDFUL OF THIS PLACE!!☠️
