🫨New Home Owner Horrors: #WHITEFLIES infestation 🪰

Hi everyone, I know lemon8 is usually a place to learn about solutions but maybe it could also be a platform to ask for help? We are desperate! 🥹😭

#PLEASESENDHELP - anyone has a solution to get rid of white flies? ⚪️🪰

Usually found if you have plants but we are living in one of the higher floors with 0 plants and these flies have found their way to our units causing us to:

- not able to open windows at all

- goosebumps just looking at it

- disgustinggggggshizzzzzz

So far online remedies have been to spray diluted soapy water but these remedies were to be sprayed onto plants. Should I then spray on the walls and leave soapy stains on it? Also what about the ceiling? Will it then all fall on me when when we do it?

It has been exceptionally worse right after the rain and moving our zipblind up and down or switching on our fans have not been helpful at all.

Anyone has any solutions?!

We have feedback to management and NEA and they said that this is a ‘seasonal’ phenomenon but doesn’t Singapore just have ONE season?! 🧐😫

Anyone faced any of such issue before please! send! help! Any advice appreciated…
