Mount Batur Sunrise ⛅️ is it WORTH IT???

Went Mount Batur Sunrise on Day 2 and it was a must go on my checklist prior to the trip! Having heard many good reviews from my friends, I made it a point to go. Though this one’s a little more pricey for smaller group (2pax) and slightly trickier to plan into the itinerary due to the graveyard timing 💀…

I booked my Jeep tour from klook ,, you can just search it up and decide which tour package to take depending on the activities included.

———— Experience

The duration of this entire trip took from 2am-1pm (11hrs) ! This includes travelling to the various destinations which can take up to 2 hours from your hotel to the mountains. Overall it can get tiring, drenched and dirty but it’s definitely 💯 worth the views and for those experience ❤️🫶🏻 !!!!

🌳 Itinerary overview🚶

2.00am - We got on our drivers car, after all that driving , we arrived at the meeting point on mount Batur at 5am

5.00am - Chill out time waiting for the sun to rise at 6.50am, our tour driver got us some coffee and tea for breakfast which also warmed our hands a lot

7.20am - Left the mountains, on to next location: black lava

8.00am - Arrived at black lava, free and easy time

9.00am - left black lava, next location: waterfall

9.45am - Arrived at Waterfall, climbed 100000 flights of stairs up and down 😭💦, get ready to be dirty and wet ! You’ve gotta walk barefoot on the rocks in the lake along waterfall if you’re wearing sneakers 🥲….

10.45am - (Skipped our last destination: coffee tasting) Left waterfall, back to hotel cause WE TOO TIRED!

12.30 - Finally back to hotel 🏠
