“I actually like reading now” is music to my ears🥰

📚Shatter Me ~ My girls and boys loved this equally. I finally took it home to read this week and is basically a perfect YA novel. I love the Maze Runner, and Handmaid Tale, and X-Men vibes. Perfect combination of mental health, romantic tension, and dystopia.

📚 Scythe ~ I don’t know if there is anything to say that hasn’t been said about this book. Any non-reader will be obsessed with this if they can get over the amount of pages. One of my kids went from bragging about never reading to finishing this in a weekend. An incredible dystopian novel. Are they gonna make a movie for it or what??

📚 Inheritance Games ~ This is one I personally haven’t read yet, but I plan to since my students are begging me to. In the words of one of my girls, “it’s so old money aesthetic”. She was one of my students who initially used to try and hide her phone in her book, and she’s now on the sequel for this one. So… I’m intrigued.

📚 Red Rising ~ Reading currently. Roman Empire on Mars… need I say more? I’m hooked, and my students literally begged me to get it for our class library, because there’s a waitlist for it in the school library. Even my non-readers have put their names on the list to read this one.
