I was formally diagnosed with ADD (attention deficit disorder) when I was around 10 years old, then as I grew older, at 18, was reevaluated and yep, ADHD! (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder)

Back then, as a kid, I was put on medication for it but remember being taken off for a few years. When I turned 18, I went and saw my adult doctor, psychiatrists, therapists, etc, and was put back on different prescribed ADHD medication that has been a life saver ever since.

I learned other coping skills like journaling to help with my organization, and natural things like essential oils - especially peppermint - it’s stimulating and great for focus, and noise cancelling headphones - which blocks out any noise I need for focusing while doing tasks that can be hard for someone with ADHD.
