Regrets from college

🎀Worrying about my appearance so much:

I wasted SO MUCH time worrying about how I looked, especially my weight. In reality, in order to live the full college experience, you probably are not going to reach peak fitness during this time. You also probably won’t be the most put together. College is a beautiful mess of self discovery and memories, give yourself grace.

🎀not going to class:

There were many times where I would skip classes. It may sound corny, but the only one who loses out when you do this is you. You’re paying to be in those classes, and each class is valuable. Be hungry for knowledge, you’re there to learn!

🎀not being as involved as I could have been:

You must be responsible for creating your own community, seeking out people with common interests, and creating valuable relationships. Although it sounds intimidating, getting involved is the best way to do this.

To end on a positive note, here are things that I’m so glad that I did:

🎀joined a sorority and lived in the house

🎀gained and lost friends over time, it’s part of growth, and it’s ok

🎀called my mom every week

🎀put a tv in my room
