1. Berries- blackberries & blueberries are top picks because of their nutritional value but raspberries and strawberries also make the list because of high antioxidants and low glycemic value.

2. Leafy greens- spinach, romaine, arugula, kale, collard greens… if you’re not big on salads, add fresh herbs & micro greens on top of your warm dishes at the end for added nutrition and culinary pizzazz!

3. Nuts - walnuts, macadamia nuts & Brazil nuts get an honorable mention because of their needed micro nutrients, but I also get down with almond, pistachios… Nuts have all the good fats that are body and brain need.
