your next italian date night place 🍝🍕🇮🇹

Recently went down to Publico Ristorante for a birthday celebration with my friend! Absolutely loved the night vibe there with the brightly litted fairy lights all around the restaurant ✨The place was relatively big with ample of seatings but be sure to make a reservation before you head down as it is usually packed!

We got the following dishes:

🍝 Truffle Cacio e Pepe ($32) - creamy pecorino romano, crushed black pepper, freshly grated black truffle, house made thick spagetti

🍕 Capricciosa ($29) - shaved ham, pork sausage, artichokes, black olives, mushrooms, mozzarella

🍹Caffe Italia ($19)

🍸Publico Sling ($24)

The highlight of the night for me was the Capricciosa Pizza as I loved how the pizza dough was so fluffy and chewy 🥹 The ingredients also went really well with the sauce, giving the whole pizza a really nice taste! However, I did not enjoy the Truffle Cacio e Pepe as I felt that it was way too cheesy for my liking 😭 The cocktails were surprisingly pretty good - definitely preferred the Publico Sling as the rosemary infusion, orange and lemon combination gave it a really refreshing taste!

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Publico and I can’t wait to head back to try the different pizzas and maybe a different pasta! The service staffs were also really friendly ☺️
