Why I call him “partner”

1) I consider him my life partner, no matter what phase we’re in. Whatever challenges we face, we’ll face them together

2) We both knew when we were just starting to date that our relationship was much more than JUST boyfriend and girlfriend. We started out as friends (would 100% recommend!!) and knew that if anything, we could always rely on that bond for long term happiness

3) Maybe it’s silly, but for myself, I just think using those terms are for more formal situations. Fiancé and husband just sound weird coming out of my mouth 🤷‍♀️

4) use whatever terms you want for each other! No one is allowed to dictate how you refer to each other. Sometimes I call him “baby-daddy” sometimes I call him “bruh”, you know what you mean to one another and that’s all that matters
