best ways to take insta pics w/o showing your face

i saw @4lyyss do this post and i thought it was perfect to do my own take on this topic: faceless insta pics. if you aren’t feeling your best, or are wearing a great fit / are in a great location but your face isn’t looking as good as it could, here’s my fave ways i take faceless insta pics! (btw, i take A LOT of faceless insta pics! you don’t need to explain your reason for doing so, as long as the pic looks bomb you’re good!)

1. looking at art. this is so simple, because i feel like a faceless “looking at art” pic in an art gallery is actually much better than a posed pic. it’s more natural & candid, and fits the occasion of visiting an art gallery much better

2. pretending to read a book! this one may look super funny, but i find it looks super aesthetics - the newspaper in particular. just cover your face with a newspaper, magazine or book and you’ve still got a super cute pinterest worthy pic!

3. pretending to laugh. similar to the first one, this is a super believable way to create a candid faceless pic, as all it takes is for you to pretend to laugh (or be seriously dying of laughter). it makes you look super cute, just put your hand over your face and bow your head and you’re good!

4. taking pics from behind. there’s such a variety of ways to take pics from behind, i use this for outfit pics a lot or for “on the go” travel pics. it enhances whatever’s on the back of your outfit and still encapsulates all your outfit without needing to show your full face. it’s super versatile and easy to do

5. finally, the most obvious, an outfit details pic. think matilda djerf. think pinterest girl. all you do is take a pic of your outfit, neck downwards and you’re done! it makes your outfit the centre of attention which is a perfect way to tag brand’s in your ig post and let your followers get a clear view of all you’re wearing.
