korean fruit & veg-shaped bread from $2.50?! 🍎🥕🌽🍠🧄

if you're a bread lover like me, you're going to want to save this! 🤩 the super viral korean bakery pop-up by bakery 1946 is back in sg! 🥐🥖🥯🍞 this time they've got even more bread options (over 55 different kinds‼️)including lots of sweet & savoury options too. 😋

you can get the popular k-apple bread 🍎, but what caught my eye is their new vegetable-inspired bread series that's sooo cute, they look like actual vegetables! 🥺 there's bread shaped like a carrot🥕, corn 🌽 , sweet potato 🍠 , garlic clove 🧄 , baby pumpkin 🎃 and chestnut 🌰! note that most of these veg-inspired breads are of the sweet variety, not savoury; so if you're not into sweet breads, you might not be into these. 😚

other breads on the line-up include the famous cream-filled buns, mochi bread, pastries, cookies and more! 🥨🍡🍪🥧

💸 price-wise, they're on the slightly more expensive side—perhaps due to the bakers and ingredients flown over straight from Korea 🇰🇷 and baked fresh in sg—starting from $2.50 each. most breads are priced between $4-$5 on average, with some larger loaves going up to $8+ as well. 😮‍💨

but that said, i still think it's worth buying just to try, especially if you didn't manage to try their bakes the last time! 🤭 the pop-up will be in sg for pretty long this time (almost a month), so you have lots of time to head down and try the korean breads! 🤗
