A SUPER PRETTY DINNER SPOT; sadly…

my friends brought me to Jypsy One Fullerton to celebrate my birthday~ the ambience did live up to the hype and the place was super cozy and romantic - perfect for date nights and special occasions!

everything was perfect till we ate the food… we ordered 3 mains + 1 small plate. we saw other tables getting the nest of fries and thought it looked interesting so we ordered it too! did not disappoint, it is really yummy~ but the other 3 mains were not that great especially the asari clam spaghetti, it tasted really diluted and bland but it came with a huge portion of clams which we made sure to finish. the katsu curry rice tasted normal and the ika pizza too but the latter was intriguing as we have not tasted squid on a pizza before.

for the drinks, we really loved the honeydew melon sour! it is a type of cocktail and tasted citrusy~

honestly, i was a bit disappointed at the quality of food as the price was pretty steep, might come back for the other small plates (eg. aburi salmon etc.) because those seem to be the ones people were hyping about~
