Which is a lot for anyone!

Coffee tastes great and I enjoy a cup 1-2x/year, but I'm no longer dependent on it, which is key. I was drinking coffee constantly because it made me crash, so I wold drink more coffee to get another boost, only to crash again. Here's how I got off the addiction:

-Focused on adrenal health. This isn't for everyone, but I was suffering from a perfectionist mindset and was constantly stressed out. My circadian rhythm was out of whack, so I needed this step. I did this primarily through conscious relaxing practices such as meditation, focusing on optimizing my sleep and some supplements (under the guidence of my doctor)

-Increased water intake the right way. Everyone says to hydrate, but few people actually drink enough water daily. Adding trace minerals to your water is SO important! If you're just chugging water, you're losing these minerals which is actually adding to your dehydration. Adding trace minerals helped me feel more energetic, hydrated and I wasn't constantly rubbkbf to the bathroom to pee. This sounds weird, but it's true - being properly hydrated does not mean a million trips to the bathroom!

-Try more natural alternatives. Supplements aren't necessary, but they can help. I focused on tryinf natural alternatives to support my body rather than forcing stimulation the way coffee does. Mushroom based products can be great to support a healthy hormone balance which naturally stimulates energy.
