I’m always had tapered eyelids(cover pic) and finally decided to try eyelid threading! I prefer threading bcos it can last up to 5 years and it can potentially be permanent and more natural as years go by IN COMPARISON to cutting your eyelids which almost always ends up looking very unnatural/thick 👀

I got mine done from an aesthetician with 8 years of experience. She’s based in KL but goes to different parts of Msia for work and i always describe how she is like doing a msia world tour cause she goes to the diff states on rotation for work so I had to wait till she came to Johor Bahru…

The whole procedure took only 30 mins and with consultation and payment it adds up to only about an hour. She is so used to doing aesthetic work and knows exactly how to achieve the final results as long as u communicated it properly beforehand.

It is more of feeling uncomfortable (gaowei) after the initial anaesthetic injections since you can feel her messing with your eyes..

I was giving meds to reduce the swelling but had to get saline water from guardian (60 cents for 20ml) since it’s strictly no water contact to prevent infections..2 was enough to last me for my recovery phase and this was surprisingly cheap hahaha

Stayed at home for 4 full days without heading out bcos my eyes started bruising on the way home the same day.

The following days were the worst since it was super bruised and swollen..by day 5 I was able to go out using foundation to cover the yellow bruising but it was still obvious.

Fat removal is only necessary for people with more swollen lids in order to achieve a more natural result. I was anxious at first during the first 2-3 weeks as friends around me were saying how it looked unnatural. BUT! I had faith and trust in her skills and eventually loved my results after a month 🥳
