how we got scammed in Hua Hin

We decided to turn from our usual bangkok itinerary and added Hua Hin this time round. When we saw the photos posted on agoda, we were like wah this resort so pretty BUT we were wrong.

📌 The experience

When the driver turned into this sketchy alley and said we arrived, we were caught by surprise. This “resort” was super small and had little to no facilities. A huge difference from our expectations. We thought we were going to be having the most “nua” hours of the trip with luxurious soft, king beds but the beds were hard and there were no lifts available. The breakfast spread was small but the dishes were quite nice. The resort however was very very far from city center and averaged 100baht per trip to any of the attractions in the city.

📍 Devasom Hua Hin Resort, 1446/23 Petchkasem Road

Overall, i would recommend this place only if you are someone who likes a very quiet environment. If you like something more resort-like, Cape Nidhra, our second resort was amazing!
