The struggle of character cookies

Character cookies - as a cookier you either love them or hate them. I am definitely on the side of not liking them - 2 reasons:

1. copyright laws

2. the lack of creative freedom they present

So, while I do them on the rare occasion I decide to do them - yes, it’s a decision I have to give though to - I work with my client to work on a modern interpretation of the design that brings me joy to create while also providing the results they will love.

I have never watched Bluey but wanted the set to modern through line art - it’s a work around to character cookies that I trust and the results have never failed. This set was for a sweet little kiddo named Blue so it was surely fitting.
