More days at the morisaki bookshop review

I was really looking forward to this book because the first one brought so much comfort and clarity and the characters were so relatable. This second book was more focused on the older characters of the book, Satoru and momoko and their storyline felt a bit too predictable to be enjoyed.

There was an attempt to develop the main character, Takako's love life but that kind of fell flat as well.

I was kind of disappointed by the sequel but this book also reminded me of all the fun times we had in the first book.

Give this a miss if you have many other books on your 'to read list'. At least that will help to preserve the magic of the first book.
