BAR NAMED AFTER CATS?! (๑•ૅㅁ•๑)

A fairly new speakeasy bar in town, Here Kitty Kitty is a new concept by Zouk Group inspired by Tokyo’s Golden Gai! 🇯🇵

They are most famous for their Japanese inspired cocktails! I got the

🤍 Watermelon Sugar $24 ~ Fruity, Sweet

🤍 Ume Whisky Sour $25 ~ Citrusy, Textured

I could tell that both drinks were relatively strong in alcohol content for a cocktail, which I really appreciated!! 😋

The Watermelon Sugar had (literally) watermelon sugar coating on the rims of the cup, which made the drink sweeter and more pleasurable! However, I could not really taste watermelon in the actual cocktail itself which was pretty sad! 🥺

The Ume Whisky Sour was served with 2 paw prints which was so cute!! 😍 The drink was slightly sweet and citrusy as described, and I really liked it! 🫶🏻

There was quite a large variety of Japanese fusion bar food, but I only got to try the Chikin Tsukune ($15). I could not really taste the “charcoal-grilled” part but I loved how the sansho tare sauce complemented the chicken meatball!

One thing I have to say about this place though, I LOVEDDD the interior! 🤩 When you first enter, you are greeted with this neon display, which, by the way, makes a great backdrop for your OOTD shots! (Unfortunately, I forgot to snap a pic 🥹) The main bar had beautiful autumn inspired decor, and I was sat in a more dimly lit, oriental space~

Overall, I would come back here to try out more of their cocktails if I am available, but this will not be my go-to cocktail place 🥺

Nevertheless, the vibes were great and I would recommend this place for dates or a 1-1 hang out with your best friend! (As the ambience is more chill rather than a bar which is bustling with activity!)
