HOW TO SURVIVE COMMUTING TO COLLEGE

I am a full time undergraduate student who has been commuting to college (1.5 hours each way) for two years now! Why you may ask? This school has a great reputation, highest career placement rate, wonderful alumni, & I have an awesome scholarship!

My tips:

⭐️Stack all of your classes into 2-3 days! I have classes (15 credits) only Monday (4 classes/ 6 hours) & Wednesday (5 classes / 9 hours)! I have a 4 day weekend every week, day break in between classes & save $ on gas!

⭐️Take early classes (if possible)! I always opt for an 8 AM class, I wake up before sunrise & get to watch the sunrise on the drive!

⭐️Make a fire playlist! My favorite part of commuting is getting to listen to 3 hours of music & singing my heart out the entire drive!

⭐️Plan classes around traffic hours! Do not take classes that will get out at 5 PM, you will sit in traffic for so much longer!

⭐️Romanticize your time at school! It makes life so much more fun!

⭐️Have specific days to do your homework & do it ahead of time! It makes the workload so much easier!

⭐️Pick out lunches, snacks, & outfits the night before!

⭐️Go to bed early! Being well rested for driving & classes is the most important tip I can give!
