What I cooked with CS’s $5.90 brioche loaf

As a 2 man household we often have problems clearing groceries 🤣 so whenever we buy something we always have to think of multiple ways to cook it!

Here’s 3 simple recipes to finish a brioche loaf (got mine from cold storage, $5.90)

1. French toast with berries

- Beat 1 egg and add some milk (however much you want)

- Dip the bread into the egg and coat fully

- Fry on medium heat

- Drizzle maple syrup and add blueberries

2. Scrambled eggs with spinach on toast

- Toast bread 3-5min

- Beat 1 egg (I didn’t add milk) and scramble on low heat. I used a chopstick this time as I wanted to get more of a French style, but you can also use a spatula

- Fry spinach with a spoonful of minced garlic and olive oil

- Assemble!

3. Grilled cheese toastie

- Butter 2 slices of bread

- Fry the first slice butter side down at low heat

- Fry the second slice butter side down and add choice cheese on top
