BTB/GTB HTHT: Where do I even start…😔

I've been getting a lot of DMs from BTBs who are feeling overwhelmed and unsure of where to start with their wedding planning. While those super long and detailed wedding checklists available online are great for ensuring you don't miss anything, they can also be quite intimidating and make you feel super anxious (Like ded why got so much stuff not done yet ><). So, I'm going to share how I kicked off my wedding planning journey. Once you've settled these major tasks, you'll naturally go with the flow and eventually manage to handle the entire wedding :)

Wedding Date: 10 December 2023

Key Tasks and Timeline:

* 📆Selected wedding date: 26 September 2022

* 📍Booked wedding venue: 14 November 2022

* 📑Booked PWS package (includes wedding day attire): 21 November 2022

* 📸Booked photographer and videographer: 23 December 2022

* 💄Booked makeup artist: 28 February 2023 (a bit late! Many makeup artists were already booked up, so it's best to book early!)

✨Other vendors that I didn't hire but please contact early also: Wedding emcee, Dai Kam Jie (大妗姐), wedding decor

Note: I don't want to overwhelm you with a long list, so this post doesn't include many other tasks. It's simply to help you get started and

secure the most important vendors. If you'd like a more detailed timeline of the entire planning process, I'll be happy to share it with you guys later.
