How cute are these? 🐰They can be made for any occasion - not just Easter! I was making a homemade whipped cream for something else and had some leftover and decided to make these cute little pastry puffs. Recipe below:
PUFF PASTRY
- I prefer Pepperidge Farm - form with any type of cookie cutter
- Bake at 400 degrees for 12 min
- Once cooled, cut *almost* in half but not all the way through
WHIPPED CREAM
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla (I always add in a little extra - measure with your heart)
- Beat whipping cream with standing mixer or electric beater for about 1 to 2 minutes
- Continuing to mix, slowly add in sugar and vanilla until peaks form
ASSEMBLE
-Add as much whipped cream inside each pastry as desired
- Be creative! Add in fruit like strawberries or drizzle on melted chocolate
- Sprinkle on some powdered sugar for the final touch
