I made myself some almond milk after the hard work I put in cleaning and reorganizing our pantry. It's a me thing because my daughter and partner do not enjoy it.

It's really easy to make
Here's the recipe:
1 cup almonds
4 cups water.
Blend and strain in a cheesecloth or whatever clean cloth you have.
Add a pinch of salt, your choice sweetener and whatever flavorings you want.
I put vanilla and cinnamon in one and cocoa powder in the other.
Refrigerate, use within 5 days. I store mine in mason jars as pictured.
Enjoy !
Milk may settle so shake or stir before serving.
Some suggest letting almonds sit at least 4 hrs or overnight. however I did not. I did soak them in warm water. I also peeled the skins off (also not necessary, just a preference) because I'll be using the pulp for almond flour.
I will be making walnut and pistachio milk as well. Same recipe, different nutty taste.
