🦘Apply for ETA Visa

Download the ETA Application and fill the

necessary details to apply for the visa. It

only took 1 day for the visa to be approved

but i suggest applying it in advance. You do

not need to print out the visa as it will be

linked to your passport.

🦘Bring Less Cash

everywhere and anything is contactless

payment, mostly i used Youtrip and apple

pay 💳

🦘Get Sim Card : Telstra

i got the physical sim card from telstra in

the airport because it has the best network

in australia

🦘 Get MyKI Card

almost all the tram rides within the city

centre is FOC however places like st kilda,

south melbourne market requires the use of

myki card. note : you can top up the card at

any tram station so do not top up more than

$10, always do single trip topup!

❣️Takeaways/Things to Note :

☁️ Weather gets really moody, we experienced the worst winter of all years so be prepared as weather changes everyday!

🏨 stayed in Holiday Inn Kings Cross Street - near to tram station and accessible food places and grocery places

🚦lights change fast, blinking green means do not cross as the light is going to change to red light

🍴food is really expensive but portions are meant to be shared in most restaurants. note : during weekends foodplaces have surcharges!
