September Coffee Review ☕️ | living up to its hype

Guys, I found the cafe of my life! ( o˘◡˘o) It’s September Coffee located at 258 South Bridge Road near Maxwell and Chinatown MRT.

I saw the hype about this cafe on social media whereby all of my friends (eager cafe hoppers) are posting about this cafe, so I had to try it out myself. Turns out that I love their pasta and coffee and will regularly pay my visit here to get my cravings satisfied.

🦀🍝 Crab Linguine — would rate it a 100/10!!! The texture of the linguine is just right, not too soft or hard. Adorned with cherry tomatoes, flying fish roe, seaweed and a generous serving of crab meat, it tastes quite spicy so this may be a pass for those who cannot take spice. This is my go-to dish whenever I come here! I loved it so much to a point where I always order this and never get to try anything new from the menu haha.

🐓🍜 Rose Udon — my friend ordered this and she let me have a mouth to taste what it is like — it’s not too bad, the karaage is juicy and tender, and the udon was well-cooked. May give this a try next time!

🖤 Iced black sesame latte — one of the most creative coffee drinks I have ever tried! The dairy-free black sesame cream tastes a bit salty, which goes really well with the latte underneath, to my surprise. Another 100/10 for this one. On a side note, they offer oat milk option for lactose intolerant people! Even though the price is a little high after making it iced and switching cow’s milk to oat milk plus the service charge ($9.90… :’)) I still love it and would pay for it every once in a while…

Verdict: this cafe definitely lives up to its hype and did not let me down, in fact it has gone onto my list of favourites cafes for friends’ gatherings or alone time!

p.s. as the cafe is almost always packed with people, so do expect some noises indoors. That said, it is NOT a conducive place for working/studying, just come here for the food and coffee and aesthetics! hehe :)
