HANDS DOWN ONE OF MY FAV K RESTAURANT‼️😳

Probably the BEST K FOOD and BBQ Ive eaten⁉ Initially my family and I (5 pax)were planning to dine at Obba BBQ , but the queue was too long for my hungry stomach LOL...so we headed to Gangnam BBQ instead, not knowing whether it was highly raved or not.

❗We still had to wait about 20minutes ish but the was kind enough to give us a call when our reservation was reaching on the waiting list.

ALSO, sadly they do not have a menu and I don’t remember all the prices and could only state the ones I remember😤😤

On first glance, yall... the area was not very spacious and a little hazy😅 (due to the bbq, but wasn't the worst I've experienced). The waitresses are very helpful and enthusiastic but they weren't very observant and paying attention to the customers. We had to call for them several times before they would notice us :(

On to the food. The panjeon (seafood pancake), ✨IS THE BEST✨ I've eaten. Crispy on the outside but hot and soft on the inside😌. The crunch sound could be heard even when there was a lot of background noise going on. Also, it came in such a 🫢big portion and size, compared to other k restaurants, the price paid was definitely worth it.

We also ordered the 🐄PREMIUM SET ($139) consisting of 3 different beef cut, a 🍲stew of your choice (kimchi/soybean/spicy tofu). We got the soybean stew and it was SO TASTY! It wasn't very saltish but the flavour was balanced nicely with the seafood (clams) and wasn't overpowering. In fact, it kinda served as a refresher dish if the bbq taste was too much.

The 🍳steamed egg that came with the set was slightly overcooked :( too

For the 🍜cold noodles and black bean noodles, we ordered them because we were craving for Korean noodles. While it was tasty, there wasn't anything surprisingly nice - it was OKAY. But for the priced paid (similar to other restaurants), it is worth the price.

Lastly, ❗Korean Fried Chicken❗ - omg I've been craving for it for the LONGEST time and the moment I tasted it, I felt like my world was complete AHAHHHA🥹🥹 Crispy and full of flavour on the outside (no, they did not stinge on the sauce) and tender on the inside...🤤🤤🤤🤤

Overall, it was an amazing experience here and I WILL COME BACK to try them all again hehe. ❗PS, the lighting there is a BIG NO, so don't really expect to have amazing photos of people - and thus, my ootd is there before I head for dinner
