Korean stall open by a Kpop Idol! | @The Cathay

That’s right! 82 Own is actually own by Plus82 (at Rendevous Hotel) - which is owned by BTOB’s EunKwang🙊🙊

Apparently is it called 82 Own, it’s because new food menu will be sold there before launching at other outlets (?) 82 Own sells the usual korean street food like tteokbokki and corn dogs and others like bingsu , croffles and Jjajang ramen.

When I got there, the staff just came (? We were there at 12.25pm) , like 20mins after opening hour. Nothing was set up, the machines and all was not on. We could only pay exact cash because they have no change at all...🤨😩 and they only except nets.

Stopped by here for a quick snack and got the $19 set, consisting of 1 bowl of tteokbokki and 2 corn dog of your choice. There are options like the normal corn dog or with mozzarella or cheddar. I got 2 mozzarellas and tteokbokki with level 2 spicy.

Honestly beside the service, the food is really good! The tteokbokki was cooked just nice, slightly chewy but still soft and the sauce was spicy which I loveee🌶 if you are a spicy lover you can get level 2 and above, the spicy-ness stays at the throat🔥🔥

For the corn dog, the bread was slightly hard and difficult to bite into but other than that, it tasted so good with the mustard and ketchup! (I use to hate the thought of that mixture but it’s SO GOOD🤤🤤)

I believe there is another outlet called “Gangnam Corndog” at Clarkequay also owner by plus82 which also serves korean street food with a slightly different menu!

Definitely would still recommend as the food is good and decently priced! A good place to stop by to satisfy your korean snack cravings✨🥺
