MY LASHES ARE GONE

They’re really not gone, I just took off my eyelash extensions.

I recently took them off after 2 years and I’m honestly having a very hard time without them. I don’t feel as pretty, as feminine, or as dainty as I normally would with them off. I took them off because they were unfortunately hurting me than helping me. I feel like I don’t know this face anymore and dysmorphia is a real thing. I’m working on loving myself naturally as I am and without enhancements. In an age where being beauty enhancements are the norm (and as much as I love them), they’re not healthy for me and my relationship with myself. Maybe in the future I’ll put them back on? Who knows! But for now I am learning to be happy with MY face. Who I am for me. I gratefully have many people who love me with, or without, my eyelash extensions. I also have a man who adores my face more natural, and that’s definitely something I appreciate. If you’re thinking about taking them off ladies, do it! Your inner beauty means way more than your outward beauty. And girl if you wanna keep those lashes, KEEP THEM! At the end of the day it doesn’t matter. You are BEAUTIFUL with or without the lashes, the nails, the lipstick. You’re more beautiful than any of those. (I have to remind myself of that too).
