going to the gym at 6am is no easy task, but Iβve found that the benefits make the challenge worth it!
exercising before work has made me more productive, more motivated, and overall more positive! here are some of the things that make going to the gym first thing in the morning worth it:
β° increased alertness
- I find myself to be more awake after physical activity. if I just roll out of bed and attend my first meeting, I feel INCREDIBLY groggy. working out has helped so much in feeling ready for the day!
π better moods
- working out gets those endorphins going! I often find myself in better moods after a good workout. I stay positive throughout the day and Iβm not stressed out as easily.
π less distractions & excuses
- if I go to the gym after work, I always find excuses to avoid it like social events, errands, too many people, etc. going first thing in the morning helps alleviate those distractions and letβs me follow through on my plan to exercise.
