If you are wanting to run faster these are 3 important tips! Take your easy days EASY! Majority of your runs should be at a slow pace because it’s easier on your body and will allow your body to recover properly. It also allows you to run for longer and have a higher weekly mileage. Speed runs 1-2 times a week are where you will go all out with your effort. I try to do one short speed workout like sprints and one longer pace workout like a fartlek run where I run at a 7/10 effort for 3 min and slow jog for 2 min and repeat. Overall consistency is what’s going to help you get better it just takes time! Everyone is different and improves at a different pace so remember not to compare yourself to anyone.
