Because I'm an admirer of both old and new styles, I just can't choose between them! 😍

At first I wasn't quite sure what to call my style but after a few years of settling in and living with our green kitchen and its dark flooring, I've grown fond of the modern and traditional look, TOGETHER! While hubs prefer the more up-to-date aesthetics, I feel the addition of old-school design elements help balance the clean and miminalist look to feel warm and timeless ♥️

So yeah, transitional is what I'm going for. It may not look it much right now, but at least now I know the direction I'm heading in our home journey. Having a clear vision makes hunting for furniture and decor pieces that much easier and exciting too! 😉
