Get away from the scorching heat: Bear Lake.

Obviously you aren’t going to run into the ocean in Idaho, but if you are missing the ocean vibes then Bear Lake is the spot to see!

There are 5 beaches and campsites to choose from but by far North Beach is where you will find the best views of the landscape and the prettiest water itself💦

This lake is incredibly popular for camping but we decided to turn this into a day trip so we grabbed our paddle boards and spent the day out on the water enjoying the sun and the ocean vibes that this place brings.

We arrived at opening (7am) and we had the whole beach to ourselves so we were able to pick our perfect spot to set up, by 9am the beach was completely full!

⚠️Bugs!

One drawback is that the bugs are also a big fan of this place, we went out onto the water and ended up turning right around and going straight back to the car so we could cover ourselves in bug spray!!
