Although Denver is a beautiful city, I highly recommend taking a day trip! Denver is an amazing hub for many activities year-round, so you have unlimited places you can visit. You can explore snow-capped mountains, scenic drives, mountain towns, sand dunes, and red rocks all within a few hours of Denver. Trust me, you will fall in love with these places!

• Garden of the Gods is a short drive from Denver and offers many beautiful hiking trails. You get views of stunning red rock formations and snow-capped mountains in the distance. It is a quick and easy day trip from the city!

• Great Sand Dunes National Park is a few hours from the city, but it is worth the drive! It has the tallest sand dune in North America, and you can hike, sandboard, or stargaze in the park.

• Breckenridge is my favorite place in Colorado and is a quick drive from Denver. You can explore the cute downtown, enjoy a scenic gondola, or hike its many trails.

• Rocky Mountain National Park is the most popular area near Denver because the national park is breathtaking. You can enjoy a scenic drive or hike on its many trails.
