How I got an authentic Celine bag <$300😉🤎

YES you read that right.... an authentic Celine below 1k?!! If you've been here long enough, you would know my love for @Née Vintage !!!

I was super super lucky to have gotten an xmas PR from them last year and it came with a $100 voucher! Headed down to their store and saw a GORGEOUS Celine pouch is almost perfect condition. The only flaw really was a little scratches on the magnetic clasp. Aside from that, the canvas was in perfect condition with no scuffings or weird smell.

I IMMEDIATELY picked it up because it was such a good find given the price of $370. Used my $100 voucher to get it at $270 (actually the price tag was $260 but dk why the girl charged me $270, was honestly too lazy to go back and ask cos it's just $10). Overall it was a great thrift~

EDIT: Nee Vintage reached out to refund the $10! Appreciate their effort to refund this even though I was ok with it🤣🙏🏻

Went home, whipped out shawpee to look for a cheap leather strap (not spelling out the correct name cos im convinced saying it will make my post downweighted on the algo tbh😪)

I found a decently cheap one at $2.25 from this shop called ddccggfashion 🤣 What I liked is that the strap colour matches the trims of my pouch perfectly. I also bought a small insert to place inside the pouch so that I have something for the strap to attach to. This one was from a shop called Buttercup store. See screenshots!

OVERALL this pouch/bag is small but surprisingly can fit my camera, lipstick and some cards perfectly🤩 I've also got so many questions asking where I got it from as nobody has seen it in the boutique (to which I share the joy of buying vintage!)

I've seen so many people with "unique" branded bags that I've not seen in shops only to find out they've done the same - bought pouches and SLGs and added their own strap🤣 SUCH a good idea since branded bags are getting so expensive and common.

Buying pouches are cheaper, does their job and looks a bit more special!😋
