Ingredients for the dough:

• 250g flour

• 100g powdered sugar

• 230g butter (soft)

• 50g hazelnuts (ground)

• 50ml milk

• Burbon vanilla

Aside from that:

•200g whole milk couverture

Step1:

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into a sticky dough.

Step2:

Pour the dough into a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle. (The piping bag should be sturdy, with a plastic bag it would not be possible to pipe the pastry)

Step3:

Pipe the pastry in circles or in S shapes onto the baking paper.

Step 4:

The shortbread cookies at 190 degrees

Bake top/bottom heat for 10 minutes.

The surface of your pastry should be golden yellow and the bottom should be golden brown.

Depending on your oven, you should bake it shorter or longer!

Step5:

Heat the couverture in a water bath.

There should be no water in the chocolate coating. Otherwise it will become lumpy and unusable.

Step 6:

Dip the completely cooled shortbread cookies into the couverture, wipe off the bottom on the edge of your container and let it dry.
