CALLING ALL ARMYS ! come when you are in korea 🇰🇷

hello armys 💜

many of yall would have known about the famous eatery that bts used to dine at when they were still rookies and the owner that took such great care of them. i went to seoul recently and visited this place and i had such a surreal experience there 🥹🥹🥹

on our way to the restaurant (yoojung sikdang), we spotted a huge sign that wrote “방탄소년단 맛집” which means “BTS restaurant”. we followed the sign and found the restaurant right in front of us

there were banners and posters around the exterior of the restaurant and it was so packed even on a weekday early afternoon! when we entered, everywhere was filled with bangtan. posters, stickers, cup sleeves, slogans, standees. they were on the ceiling, every wall and every single corner of the restaurant. there were even stickers on the tissue box and the ordering sheet was also bangtan! it was so so amazing witnessing this whole scene 💜

based on online blogs, the 3 must try items ate the hot stone bibimbap (aka bts bibimbap), ssambap and army stew, which are what bts often ate.

we tried the hot stone bibimbap (10000 KRW) and ssambap (12000 KRW) as we had limited stomach capacity 😅😅😅 and both did not disappoint!

the recommended way to eat the bibimbap was to first shake the rice before pouring it into the hot stone and mixing everything up. the rice was not the regular white rice but heukmi bap, which is the purple rice. it was super fragrant and we finished every bit of it. the ssambap was also amazing. you basically take a piece of vegetable and make a wrap with the pork.

both were equally amazing but i would recommend getting EITHER the bibimbap or the ssambap as the pork in both are the same. we saw another table eating samgyeopsal so you might consider getting that with the bibimbap instead!

we also saw the famous grandmother and took a picture with her 🤭 she was really friendly and super sweet !!!

NEXT STOP: old big hit building

after our super scrumptious lunch, we took a less than 5 minutes walk before you reached 청구빌딩, aka the old big hit building. you can use naver map to find this place!

all around the building is filled with doodles from worldwide armys, including the stairs, windows and even bt21 posters. there was a “see you in 2025” written on one of the walls which made me so emotional and so happy knowing that all the armys are waiting for our boys 😭💜

while walking back to the subway station, i spotted v’s celine ads. it was really such a perfect day.

overall, i highly recommend all armys to visit yoojung sikdang and the old big hit building at least once in their lives, especially during this period where the boys are away. see yall really soon my 7! apobangpo 💜
