- 4 cups chicken broth

- 3 cups water

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 2 cups chopped kale

- 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions:

1. In a large pot, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Break it into smaller pieces as it cooks.

2. Add the chopped bacon and diced onion to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent and the bacon is crispy.

3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

4. Pour in the chicken broth and water, then add the diced potatoes and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper.

5. Bring the soup to a simmer and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.

6. Stir in the chopped kale and heavy cream. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
