Hey there, fellow riders! Have you just got your 2B 🪪license and are ready to go on a journey of buying a used motorcycle 🏍️ ? I put together my top practical tips you can use the next time you view one.

Inspect Thoroughly‼️When meeting up with the seller, inspect it closely. Look for signs of wear and tear, and unusual noises, and check the maintenance history. Here are 6 things I will definitely check

1. Mileage

🔍Low or high relative to the bike age eta 10,000km per year

2. Chain and sprocket

🔍are they rusty and blunt?

3. Tyre Health Check

🔍tire depth indicator

4.Engine leaks

🔦Use a torchlight to look for any shine or grease on the engine

🔥Start the engine up and get it up to running temperature, it usually takes about 5mins

5. Suspension leaks

🛢️check for any oil on the suspension, this may indicate that the suspension is faulty.

6. The overall look of the bike for any sign of skids or falls

Look scratches or paint chips.
