How I Make Use of My Dried Lavender Plants

Summer is gone and I still want to make use of the plants before they go bad with the increasingly cold weather. One of the most useful plants I can re-use for the autumn is dried lavender blooms. 

🌱 Cut the lavender flowers near the stems.

🌱 You can use them with the stems as it is for decorative purpose. Use a decorative vase for this and put it in the bedroom or living room. Lavender scent is calming and is supposed to help improve your sleep! You can also put the dried plants on a flat decorative tray to avoid mess because the dried blooms will fall apart with time if you use vases.

🌱 Separate the dried blooms from the stems. This is pretty if the plants are dry. Collect the blooms in a cloth container to put into your wardrobe. This will protect against moths and other insects. Also good to give away as gifts if you have a lot of lavender!
