Hi friends! So I started climbing back in January, and since then have become an addict. But unfortunately last month I fell off of my project and fractured a bone in my elbow.
So I’ve been away from climbing for about a month. I’m slowly getting back into my normal routine but am definitely struggling. So here’s what I’ve been doing to get back into climbing since my injury!
✨1. I injured my arm due to a bad falling technique.. so my biggest concern right now is working on falling properly from easy climbs. It’s scary purposely falling but I’m getting better already.
✨2. I’m working on better foot techniques and problem solving. Since I can’t do as much as I could before, I’m trying to work on just being more intentional with my foot placement and my technique in general.
✨3. I’m trying to remind myself it’s ok I can’t climb as well as I could before & and any progress is amazing. I’m taking it slow and knowing there is a time to push myself but for now at least I’m back to climbing at all.
✨4. I love watching my husband climb! Fun to encourage each other, and I give him beta when I can/ when he wants it.
