Flaxseed Face & Hair Mask

If you do not cook your flaxseeds on the stove you get more nutritional value; heat can break down some of the compounds beneficial for skin and hair, SO this is my new favorite method. Now you on the stove you still like get benefits, but on the this recipe avoids long heat exposure which can remove destroy beneficial compounds.

Since we are not heating this recipe on the stove, it takes more seeds and time to make your gel. I find the perfect get comes with 3-4 days in the fridge, and make sure when you add your boiling water you stir for one minute.

You can leave this on your face for up to 20 minutes as a face mask or apply it all over your hair for a deep conditioning treatment.
