Honestly, this place was a bit overhyped to me. We waited for quite a long time to enter and ended up eating dinner first before entering because they exceeded the estimated 30 minute wait-time significantly. We ordered 2 jugs of Makgeolli, 5 cups of Honeycomb and a potato pancake. After ordering, one of the workers will bring the honeycomb over in a small wooden box and cut it up in front of you. I think in terms of ambience, this place was pretty vibe with good music but it was super crowded.

Honestly, initially the makgeolli paired well with the honey. The slightly bitterness of the makgeolli matched the sweetness of the honey. This combo was further complimented by the cheese potato pancake which was so crispy and salty. However, after a while the honeycomb started breaking up and disintegrating into the makgeolli. This meant that whenever we took a sip of makgeolli, we would have to spit out chunks of beeswax before we can continue drinking the makgeolli. The honey also becomes slightly surfeit after drinking a few cups of makgeolli. This became very burdensome after a while and we eventually just removed the honeycomb from our cup.

Overall, while it is a cool experience, I would say just share a few cups with your friends and continue drinking somewhere else.
